چکیده
Under the influence of space weather, abnormal disturbances in ionosphere will distort model seriously and affect global navigation satellite system negatively. This study analyzes ionospheric activity characteristics performance low latitude during a strong geomagnetic storm from 7 to 9 September 2017. The research goals are determine behavior refine latitude. In experiment, vertical total electron content (VTEC) peak value at latitudes caused by this was significantly higher than that on quiet day, VTEC increased approximately 75%. main phase storm, degree variation with longitude is day. trend northern hemisphere more severe southern hemisphere. region where decreases longitude, same latitudes, phenomenon not affected disturbance recovery phase. During daily minimum different basically same, 5 TECU, indicating nighttime weakly storms. Geomagnetic storms lead anomalous features “Fountain effect” latitudes. addition, event accuracy spherical harmonics (SH), polynomial, ICE models decrease 7.12%, 27.87%, 48.56%, respectively, serious distortion, which negative values fitted polynomial model.

Various observational tools are available for the study of F-layer irregularities in the equatorial region. These include optical observations of the depletion of electron density, GPS phase fluctuations, DMSP in situ observations of ion depletions, radar observations of coherent scatter from equatorial irregularities, and ionospheric soundings. Each makes contributions to observational studies...

15 صفحه اولLION: A dynamic computer model for the low-latitude ionosphere
A realistic fully time-dependent computer model, denominated LION (Low-latitude Ionospheric) model, that simulates the dynamic behavior of the low-latitude ionosphere is presented. The time evolution and spatial distribution of the ionospheric particle densities and velocities are computed by numerically solving the time-dependent, coupled, nonlinear system of continuity and momentum equations ...

This work presents the study of the variability of foF2 and hmF2 at a low latitude station in South America (Tucumán, 26.9°S, 294.6°E; magnetic latitude 15.5°S, Argentina). Ground based ionosonde measurements obtained during different seasonal and solar activity conditions (a year of low solar activity, 2009 and one of high solar activity, 2016) are considered in order to compare the ionospheri...
